Rule Acknowledgements and Optional Consents

Required acknowledgements

Creating and publishing user content requires accepting the Terms of Use and Community Guidelines, confirming you are 18 or over, and receiving the information in the Privacy Policy. Accepting an agreement and acknowledging receipt of information do not constitute consent to every kind of data processing. All options are initially off. The server records the currently published document version, the user, server time, action type and separate decisions. Arbitrary versions supplied by the client are not accepted. Material rule changes require a new acknowledgement.

Permission to send data to OpenAI

This is a separate, optional permission. Depending on the feature, the question or message text, limited context, necessary profile information and a selected image may be transmitted; voice AI features may transmit a recording and transcript. OpenAI is used for response generation and moderation. Data may be processed outside the EEA; processor terms and lawful transfer mechanisms apply. AI can make mistakes. Do not send unnecessary medical, financial or other sensitive information.

If you decline, features requiring this transfer do not run; your account is not deleted. Support, privacy management, appeals, sign-out and account deletion remain available. Available features without AI must not require this permission. For a photo or conversation containing another participant's data, the server also checks that person's permissions when necessary.

Sensitive profile information

Separate explicit consent covers selected gender and dating-preference information that may reveal sexual orientation. This data is used only for the relevant visibility settings, dating features and selected personalised functions. Declining limits those specific features. Withdrawal hides the profile from new recommendations; it does not automatically erase history or profile fields. Data and account deletion remain separate available actions.

Marketing

Marketing messages are not currently enabled. If introduced, they will require separate voluntary consent that is off by default. Service notifications about security, sign-in and decisions on reports are not marketing.

Withdrawal and history

Open Profile → Privacy and AI. Individual permissions can be changed and withdrawn as easily as they were granted. New transfers under a withdrawn permission stop after the withdrawal is recorded on the server; completed transfers cannot be undone. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. The version, time and action result are recorded without automatically renewing consent after a network failure. The app does not show a false success when an error occurs.
